It was commisioned by the Marquis of Vigliena in the early 1600's The fountain on the lower level are each of the four seasons, the second level are the Spanish Kings Phillip II, Phillip III, Phillip IV, and Charles V, and the upper level are the four saints and protectors of Palermo; S.
